Dia Mundial das Missões Comemorado Na Sé Catedral

A primeira leitura retratou o sacrifício que se tem a fazer em prol da salvação; ser escuteiro é servir e sacrificar-se pelos outros.
Na segunda leitura Cristo assume a natureza humana para dar a salvação ao mundo
No ponto do evangelho Jesus diz que quem quiser ser grande entre vós faça-se seu servo e quem quiser ser pequeno entre vós faça-se servo de todos.
Na Homilia de hoje, reflecte-se o dia mundial das missões e nesta efeméride associa-se a inclusão de crianças, adolescentes, jovens e adultos ao monumento do escutismo. Também o agrupamento 68 pertencente a Sé Catedral completa o seu X aniversário desde a sua fundação.
A igreja não é do Papa, Bispos, Madres, Leigos. A igreja é de Jesus e nós somos os seus servos. Jesus é humilde e ajoelhou para servir seus discípulos, quando da lavagem dos pés na semana Santa: mostra-se assim que é o grande servidor.
Hoje somos chamados a imitar Cristo que se humilhou para salvar o mundo, servir, sofrer e morrer pelos outros.
Servir é oferecer alegria é missão do Escuteiro, servir é dar o que esta vivo em nós, a nossa alegria, a nossa fé a nossa confiança. É fazer com que aqueles que não são humanos sejam humanos. Servir é transformar Angola, o mundo.
